The design concept of the new Bicycle Vice is based on a system that protects the basic elements of the bicycle.
As cycling has become ever more popular the price of the treasured bicycle has more than kept pace.
Our designers were given the task of designing a product that protects not just the wheels or frame but both wheels AND frame in a simple to use device.
We now have the product and it is being Patented by our company due to its unique design.
The design consists of a sturdy steel upstand in RHS(box section) which should be bolted to a concrete base. The upstand has a sliding RHS member with holes towards the end of the RHS(location holes)
The principle is that this RHS can be moved to any position depending upon the wheels of the bicycle - but there is always somewhere suitable.
The last operation is to take the second RHS bar which has 2 pins and locate it initially into the upstand RHS in line with the pin lock. Having done this the pins are lined up with the holes in the first RHS bar and the 2 bar pushed together thereby clamping the bicycle.
The pin lock is then located and key removed thus clamping wheels and bike frame.
In print it may seem fairly complicated process but it is not and it is quickly mastered.
